The song I chose to visualise is Crystalline by Björk. The song has an unusual 17/8 time signature and features a variety of organic and electronic sounds. I mapped out the entirety of the song and created a grid system that contains every single sound that can be heard in the song, a visual pattern that shows the music in its entirety as well as its individual parts. With linocut stamps I then produced this A1 poster.
